On April 7, 2017, Azadeh Keivani was invited to present AMON at NASA’s Goddard Space Flight Center. Her talk focused on the recent results of AMON realtime and archival analysis. The presence of Swift and Fermi scientists in the audience created interesting discussions about followup observations of the two NASA satellites as well as brainstorming ideas for using Fermi GBM data as a realtime triggering stream.
Azadeh also got the chance to receive a great tour of the James Webb Space Telescope by Dr. David Thompson at Goddard. The picture here shows current ongoing tests on the telescope while it is facing down (see the golden reflection on the floor).
